I find the open door policy with the executive team to be very meaningful. I've been able to develop really good relationships with certain executives who I feel comfortable calling up and asking them to go to coffee with me (even the CEO), and I feel that they genuinely care about me as a person. We also offer some really great benefits; our time-off policy is outstanding (20+ days of PTO a year). The coolest time off benefit that we offer is Compassionate Leave - which is all inclusive of all kinds of ailments or personal health situations, and there is a "no questions asked" policy around it. That employee also just became a parent. Our founders kept paying the health insurance for months on end without any guarantee that this employee would ever come back to work.
